What is mental health? Mental health is our state of well being, everybody has mental health and we all have good and bad days. Just like our bodies can become physically unwell, we can be mentally unwell and may need help to feel better.
How will an activity benefit my Mental Health? Different activities have different benefits, but some basic benefits of most are; stress reduction, feelings of control and ownership, accomplishment, improved self esteem.
Is this a counselling Service? Time Out is not a counselling service, however our volunteers and staff are trained and can provide help and advice on where's best to help you further. Check our Help page for contacts & websites.
Do I need my parents permission? Time Out is self-referral however if you are under 16 you will parental consent to join, it is important that your parents know where you are if you are taking part in an activity and if they have any questions, they can check our Parents page or contact us.
