We take pride in being an organisation that values
co-production and co-design of our services, meaning we strive to create an equal relationship between people who use our service and the people responsible for our service. We want to create an environment in which these two parties work together, from design to delivery, sharing decision-making about the best way to deliver services.
Volunteers are a key aspect of our co-production ethos. Volunteering with Time Out is an experience in which you will be able to design and shape the services we offer, and be part of setting up equal exchanges of ideas between the young people who use our service and our staff.
We know our Volunteers are each individuals with valuable skills and experience that should be utilised and developed, we want you to be doing what you love to do, as well as having the opportunity to build new skills that will benefit your overall personal or professional development.
We seek volunteers who have had personal experience of mental distress or challenges to their wellbeing, and who can empathise and understand the challenges that young people face today. If you care about the wellbeing of young people in your local communities and you are willing to share some of your own experience to help others, Volunteering with Time Out could be for you!
