Youth Social Action

What is Youth Social Action?
Youth Social Action, is young people coming together to be the change they wish to see in society. A key goal of the #iwill campaign is to enable organisations to understand and recognise high quality in youth social action.
YSA takes place in a range of contexts and can mean formal or informal activities, in any setting; for   example online, extracurricular, in clubs and groups, informally, or as part of structured programmes.

What will young people get from taking part?
Young people will gain experience in delivering workshops, public speaking and communication, as well as meeting new people . If they choose, it will lead onto volunteering and work experience.
Taking part in YSA will have a double benefit –  part by developing skills, character and life opportunities as well as a benefit to a community, cause or social problem.
